In 2022, Upward Bound (UB) students from the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) and from the University of Hawaii Maui College (UH-MC) participated in a high school summer program experience like no other – the One Ocean Summer Program. One Ocean was spearheaded by Upward Bound Directors Jana Wilkinson from UH-MC and Adam Low from the UAF. The One Ocean Summer Program utilized T3 Alliance project based learning framework to address mutual energy and climatic problems impacting their communities.

Online Classrooms for asynchronous or real-time instruction
T3 Alliance Virtual Classroom is an online learning platform that provides flexible, online T3 Alliance curriculum and comprehensive instructor support. The platform houses a growing number of T3 Alliance courses for students, including “Getting Started with your RPi Kit, “Introduction to 3D Printing”, “Design Thinking”, and many more. The Virtual Classroom provides successful, engaging, hands-on STEM experiences for distance as well as in-person programs. Set up a MakerSpace
Let T3 Alliance content experts help you order, receive, unpack and get your MakerSpace in operation safely with your students. The MakerSpace may include 3D printers, LaserCutters, and other technologies you identify to use.
