The IT Technician Training Program prepares community members with practical, hands-on IT skills that are immediately useful at home and at work. Participants complete a 25-hour IT Support Technician Level 1 training focused on device setup, network troubleshooting, software support, and professional customer service.
Graduates earn a verified certificate and can transition directly into paid work with Remote Hands as local IT Technicians supporting tribal offices, schools, clinics, and households in their own communities. Those who continue into IT Navigator training are equipped to lead community workshops and help others build digital confidence.
This program creates real job pathways while strengthening local technical capacity across consortium communities.
